I was doing pretty well with what I thought was winter weather in NYC — that is, until it snowed and temps dropped 10 degrees the day after I returned from Christmas break. Luckily, my purchases from Zara’s online sale came just in time! I added another faux fur vest and sweater dress to my arsenal of winter gear and I’ll be staying bundled up all season long.

Every year, I usually get so caught up on the daily grind that I don’t even realize that the holidays are here. In fact, it wasn’t until this weekend, when I was out running errands, that I looked up and saw the Empire State Building was all decked out in red and green. With that one glance, it started to feel like Christmas. To celebrate this revelation and the holiday season, I threw on my prettiest winter whites (with a dash of red and leopard of course). Happy holidays to you and yours!

I didn’t own any graphic shirts or sweaters to begin with, but when we picked this theme, I started noticing all of the whimsical prints in stores. Racoons, owls — you name it. So when I stumbled upon this adorable little pear, I had to give a whirl while some fully on preppy accessorizing and an unexpected splash of leopard.
