My east coast friends warned me that February would be a downer — with the holiday season long gone and winter in full effect, seasonal depression would surely kick in. To my surprise, it was actually a great month. We got a bit of snow, but I didn’t let the freezing temps get me down. February was full of bright outfits, cozy layers, and a little bit of a winter adventure. With the days getting longer and the weather getting a little warmer, I can only imagine what’s to come for march!

It seems like all winter long, I’ve been gravitating toward neutrals. My go-to color palette has consisted of cream, brown, black and leopard (obviously also a neutral), while all of my bright colors and bold prints have been hibernating in my closet. After Nemo covered NYC in a blanket of snow last weekend, the BF and I hit the streets for a little winter adventure. I never a miss a chance to wear cold-weather gear and took the opportunity to stomp around thick layers of powder in my shearling line rain boots. The snow’s all gone now, but with wind chills of 0° this weekend, you better believe I’m still bundled up!
