I can’t believe it’s already been a week since my trip to Louisiana. I’m already itching to go back to the bright lights, bustlin’ streets and amazing food (although I think I’ll pass on the crawfish). For now, looking back on some unforgettable memories and a few colorful Instagrams will have to suffice. Until next time LA!

This past weekend, I reunited with some of my best friends down in Baton Rouge for a wedding. I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect weekend complete with a beautiful ceremony and a bonafide southern reception (hellooo frozen daiquiri machines!). And since the weather was so amazingly gorgeous, I went bright bright bright for the happy occasion. Congratulations to my newlywed friends! Love you both!

There’s nothing like a weekend getaway to the great outdoors, especially when it might be the last opportunity I have to take in Mother Nature before I make the big move to NYC. By no means was I roughin’ it (definitely a glamping kind of gal), but I did take the time to enjoy the change of scenery, beautiful weather, and a little trip to the local saloon.
