I don’t really believe in love at first sight, but that definitely changed when I first laid eyes on this dress from Tobi. From the sweet lace in the front to the sultry cutout in the back, I knew it had to mine. I mean call me crazy for going backless right after a blizzard hit the city, but love makes you do stupid things, right? What will you be wearing this Valentine’s Day?

I wore this outfit before the weather cooled down this week — and boy, did it way cool down. I’ve been bundled up in sweaters and faux fur while the temps linger in the teens this week, but there’s hope on the horizon and I’m counting down the days where I can where the only layers I’ll need to wear are cardigans and blouses. Have a great (and hopefully warm) weekend!

I’m a pop of color kind of gal, through and through, but every now and then, you’ll see me in a pretty neutral outfit. Look closer, however, and you’ll notice that my definition of neutral is slightly tweaked. Leopard and gold are my go-to neutrals, sprinkled with a dash of interesting details like a pave branched necklace and a lacy shoulder sweater. Neutrals do not have to mean normal!
