belmont stakes.

This past Saturday, Tracy and I took a trip on the Long Island Rail Road over to Belmont Stakes, the third and final leg of the US Triple Crown (look at me pretending to know something about horse racing!). It was a fabulous escape from the city, complete with big hats, sundresses and mimosas. I couldn’t have asked for a better time — minus the fact that I lost $11 in bets (high roller, I know).

rompin’ season.

I’ve been gushing about my excitement for summer since before spring even hit. And while it’s definitely my favorite season for adventures and travel, it’s also what I like to call rompin’ season!
