The first day back at school or work after several weeks of holiday festivities and vacationing is bound to be rough. But the back to school blues is easy to battle with lots of bold color. Dotted in my blouse, clutch, shoes, and even nails, I’m ready to take on my last semester of law school.

As much as I love shopping, I also enjoy taking what I already have and making it feel new. Shopping your closet can sometimes be a challenge, but all you need is a little creativity and a knack for playing dress up. Personally, a blouse might be the easiest and most versatile piece to mix. Tuck it in to a skirt, tie it over a dress, or wear it under a blazer, the possibilities can really be endless.

Only in Arizona could I be wearing shorts in January and still feel too hot. Don’t get me wrong, I love our winters (if you can call them that), but sometimes I just feel like bundling up in sweaters and layers. That’s definitely not happening this week with highs in the mid-70s, so I might as well embrace the temps with bright colors and big shades.
