This past weekend, I celebrated a friend’s birthday with a sequin-themed party! Everyone was dressed to the nines and there was plenty of prossecco and Crumbs birthday cake to go around. We had some hilarious sequin on sequin snagging issues, but the night did not disappoint! Here’s my sparkly get up from this weekend.

Hellooooo 2013! I hope you all had a wonderful New Year! I celebrated in NYC with a fancy dinner, followed by a not-so-fancy dive bar (plus karaoke!), and I couldn’t have asked for a more perfect way to wrap up 2012! I definitely made a quick wardrobe change in between dinner and the dive bar, but here was my NYE LBD (sans tights and pea coat). How did you guys ring in the New Year?!

I was doing pretty well with what I thought was winter weather in NYC — that is, until it snowed and temps dropped 10 degrees the day after I returned from Christmas break. Luckily, my purchases from Zara’s online sale came just in time! I added another faux fur vest and sweater dress to my arsenal of winter gear and I’ll be staying bundled up all season long.
