I recently scored this sweater at Zara.  I loved how cozy and effortless the sweater felt, but I was even more obsessed with the faux leather paneling on the shoulders.  Black leggings and heeled boots balance out the big proportions.  See how Kacie, Kristin, and Christina styled their oversized sweaters and let us know what you think!

Between surviving Hurricane Sandy, escaping a snowstorm, and celebrating my first post-grad Homecoming, I think it’s accurate to say my life has been a bit crazy lately.  Amidst the chaos, I find it refreshing to go back to the basics.  No frills.  No fuss.  Just classic color combinations, simple styling, and deep breaths.  Happy Monday friends.

Now that the cold weather is here to stay, my new uniform will probably consist of sweater dresses, leggings, and boots.  Don’t get me wrong, I love dressing up and getting creative with my closet.  But when it’s 7 in the morning, freezing, and barely light outside and I’m getting dressed for work, the only things I want to wear involve minimal effort.

Speaking of minimal effort — leopard and oxblood is such a no brainer combo.  So much so that Jess, Tracy and I unintentionally showed up to brunch on Sunday wearing variations of the look.  Stylish minds think alike, right?
