I’m still daydreaming about my recent trip to Louisiana, even though my body and my bank account are still paying for how much I ate, drank and shopped while down there. One of my favorite finds included this bird print dress from a local boutique in New Orleans. Just another piece to add to my collection of bright, whimsical prints, but this one will definitely stand out as a reminder of my amazing time down in the south.

I’m heading down south for a wedding this weekend and I can’t help but get in the “Don’t bother me, I’m on vacation” mood already. I love this dress for it’s floral print and hi-lo hem, but also because it reminds me to just go with the flow. See you in the bayou y’all!

futuristic florals.

Floral prints might be the oldest trick in the spring trends book, so I prefer to pair my prints with unexpected details. I love the pops of neon and mesh paneling on this Prabal Gurung for Target top — it feels fresh and futuristic. Top it off with cobalt blue nail polish and a pair of snakeskin pumps for an ultra modern look.
