Another Monday calls for another office-friendly outfit. But, as you may already know, my office attire rarely involves button-up blouses and pencil skirts. I prefer to jazz up the work wear with delightful little details, like a bow-waisted dress or a pyramid-studded clutch — or both! Today’s outfit is prim, proper and a little bit of punk — a funky enough combo to get me through the 9 to 5 grind.

So far, summer in the city has been an unpleasant mixture of heat waves and thunderstorms. Luckily, the skies cleared up over the weekend for a casual stroll through the Flatiron District.
