It was barely a month ago that I was reveling in my first ever actual spring. The whole city was in bloom and everyone had an extra pep in their step. Well May has come and gone and summer is moving on in. It feels like I barely just tucked away my winter coats, but with the 90°F weather rolling in, it’s about time for my denim and leather jackets to go into hibernation too. four ways to wear: festival fashion.

It’s round three of my style collaboration with Lynzy of Sparkling Footsteps, Amanda of Little Miss Fearless and Caitlin of A Little Dash of Darling. This week, we’re showing you four ways to rock festival fashion and coincidentally, we all agreed that maxi dresses are the obviously the way to go!

When brainstorming outfits for this challenge, I was tempted to reach for a graphic tank and cutoff denim, but that seemed a little too simple (ask me again when temps hit triple digits). This maxi dress (last seen here and here) was a little more chic, but just as easy going. Top it off with a stack of jewelry, a crossbody bag and my new favorite glitter sandals and I’m ready to jam!

Three day weekends are the best … until they’re over. The downside: Major case of the Mondays. The upside: It’s actually Tuesday! And as always, I try and start the week off with a chic little number that works at the office or at a much needed happy hour.

Gray and gold is the color combo du jour, punctuated with my new favorite sequin clutch and a touch of neon. How are you surviving the post-holiday blues?
