T-Shirt & Midi Skirt

Some people love their t-shirt and jeans, but I’m more of a shirt and skirt kind of girl. Nothing brightens my day like an easy embroidered t-shirt, a full a-line midi skirt and a street corner sprinkled in confetti (coincidentally from another pair of bloggers who were shooting down the block). It’s the little things in life, right?

Drop It Low (Pt. 2)

I’m a firm believer in the saying: when you know what you love, get it in every color. As for me and drop waist dresses? It was one of those love at first sight feelings. I wore my first last week in navy and knew I would adore it just as much in red. Spoiler alert: I was right. Just add a cozy knit moto jacket and you basically have my uniform for the rest of the season.

Fresh Air

The days of no white after Labor Day are long gone. To me, all-white-everything is a year-round look and I think the little white dress is a breath of fresh air considering all the plaid, leather and dark colors that have been taking over our wardrobes lately. I paired my LWD (on major sale!) with season-appropriate accessories like a pair of leopard heels and a simple black clutch. But my favorite detail has to be this cute little beetle necklace … because when else could I ever use the words “cute” and “beetle” in the same sentence?
