Another month is almost in the books. October has been a truly fantastic month full of amazing weather (minus Hurricane Sandy), new opportunities, and fabulous fall outfits. This month’s looks were full of color (as usual), but also new combinations of textures and patterns. And now that I’ve experienced a real fall, it might just be my new favorite season … although I might be saying the same thing come spring.

I fall deeper in love with NYC every time I step out the front door. There’s always so much to do, be it shopping, eating, aimless meandering, or all of the above. Last week, the boyfriend came to visit and it was the perfect time to check out some notable sights, but also to explore more hidden gems. Fall is back to its regularly scheduled programming with sunny skies, golden leaves, and perfect temps of 65°F. I’m planning to wear skirts for as long as I can, but that doesn’t mean I’m skimping out on all the fantastic fall textures. Tweed is an obvious go to when the weather cools down, but lace and denim add a little more depth to complete this autumn outfit.
