sunset shades.

While I was driving from Phoenix to Tucson last week (see Tuesday’s post), I was inspired by the rich colors lighting the sky.  There’s seriously no sunset like an Arizona sunset.  It’s a gorgeous mixture of deep purple, orange, pink, and gold — a combination I just had to integrate into today’s outfit.

Side note: my watch is utterly inaccurate — it’s been on EST since my trip to NYC last August and the date is way off.  Just an indication on how often I actually rely on my watch for the time.  Ha!  Happy weekend everyone!

easy breezy.

Okay, so maybe it’s not breezy at all in Arizona, but this floral, flouncy outfit is reminiscent of friendlier weather.  Soft colors and light fabric making surviving the summer heat slightly more bearable and believe me, I’ll take what I can get!

summer uniform.

I’ll be spending most of this summer in the library studying for the NY bar exam, so easily thrown together outfits will be a major priority.  With this goal in mind, I recently stocked up on a slew of basic tanks from Forever 21 (hello $4!) that’ll pair perfectly with shorts, sandals and a statement necklace.  New summer uniform?  I think so.
