I recently scored this sweater at Zara. I loved how cozy and effortless the sweater felt, but I was even more obsessed with the faux leather paneling on the shoulders. Halloween spirit is in full effect. I mean, even the weather is following suit (ahhh Frakenstorm). Today, I’m taking the more cheerful approach with an outfit that was unintentionally inspired by candy corn. Happy trick or treating, my friends!

Fall is back to its regularly scheduled programming with sunny skies, golden leaves, and perfect temps of 65°F. I’m planning to wear skirts for as long as I can, but that doesn’t mean I’m skimping out on all the fantastic fall textures. Tweed is an obvious go to when the weather cools down, but lace and denim add a little more depth to complete this autumn outfit.
