radiant scallops

Another day, another dress — except this one has a few details that make the frock feel extra special. For starters, helloooo radiant orchid! The color of the year is vividly energizing and makes everything feel like spring (despite the fact that we’re scheduled for three snowstorms this week). But the icing on the cake has to be the scalloped neckline (to which my boyfriend asked if I took a pair of craft scissors to it). Life is in the details and this dress pretty much fits the bill.

monday mixer

Stop the presses: this is the first time in history that I’ve ever looked forward the start of the work week Today, I embark on a new journey — literally, I’m hopping on a flight to North Carolina on my first day on the job.
