There’s nothing like spring time in the city and if you think NYC is all pavement and skyscrapers, think again. Our little concrete jungle turns into a gorgeous garden. The sidewalks are lined with tulips and the streets are shaded in magnolia and cherry blossom trees. So why not dress to match the mood? Mix prints with a polka dot chambray shirt and a paisley print skirt and you’ve got to admit, it’s damn near impossible to have a case of the Mondays.

Double Dots

I’ve got one last outfit from our DC trip a few weeks ago (someone take me back, please!). With all of the cherry blossoms in bloom, I couldn’t resist reaching for this textured white dress. I love the soft and subtle floral texture and played it up with a polka dot shirt as an extra layer. It’s sweet, simple and the perfect outfit for a quick spring adventure.

Whisper White

Flowy White Lace Dress

Loose-fitting clothing isn’t usually my jam, but I couldn’t help but fall in love with this gorgeous white swing dress. One look at the detailed lace top and I know I had to make this dress work.

First comments from the boyfriend: Are you sure you want to wear that? You look pregnant. Maybe so, but I’ll take if it means I get a faux preggers glow that comes along with the ethereal feeling of this frock. Paired with nude heels and minimal jewelry, I let the dress speak — or rather whisper — for itself.
