Life has been keeping me pretty busy lately. So much so that I find myself doubling up on caffeine at times. But that doesn’t mean I don’t have time to enjoy the little things in life: catching up with friends and mags by the pool during a freakishly warm weekend, playing around with new jewelry, and enjoying some V Day festivities. When it comes to organization, I’m a very visual person. I need to have things laid out in front of me, otherwise I’ll forget that it’s there. So when it came to organizing smaller items, I discovered that clear containers were the perfect storage solution for me.
I picked up all the glassware from Ikea — small vases and bowls that I could fill up with frequently used necessities like makeup brushes, nail polishes, and jewelry. It definitely makes it easier to grab what I need, while adding a little visual fun to my daily routine.
