Sometimes all it takes is a $4 neon tank to amp up a $10 black dress (a $14 outfit — only at F21!). It’s an easy way to modify a basic staple and the color combo works perfectly for day and night. And really, there’s nothing like a little neon to get you through another Monday Funday.

This weekend, the bf and I took a quick getaway trip to Vegas. While wandering the Strip, I felt inspired by all the bright lights that I threw a little neon on for our night out. More pics from the trip to come, but for now, it’s back to the real world for me!

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend! Mine entailed visits to Phoenix, Yuma and San Diego to be with my friends and fam. While I was in Phoenix, I threw together this simple outfit to helped me stay warm during a night out with some great friends. Blazers and boots are definitely my new winter staple.
