This past weekend, I celebrated a friend’s birthday with a sequin-themed party!  Everyone was dressed to the nines and there was plenty of prossecco and Crumbs birthday cake to go around.  We had some hilarious sequin on sequin snagging issues, but the night did not disappoint!  Here’s my sparkly get up from this weekend.

Every year, I usually get so caught up on the daily grind that I don’t even realize that the holidays are here.  In fact, it wasn’t until this weekend, when I was out running errands, that I looked up and saw the Empire State Building was all decked out in red and green.  With that one glance, it started to feel like Christmas.  To celebrate this revelation and the holiday season, I threw on my prettiest winter whites (with a dash of red and leopard of course).  Happy holidays to you and yours!

I didn’t own any graphic shirts or sweaters to begin with, but when we picked this theme, I started noticing all of the whimsical prints in stores.  Racoons, owls — you name it.  So when I stumbled upon this adorable little pear, I had to give a whirl while some fully on preppy accessorizing and an unexpected splash of leopard.
