Case of the Tuesdays

You know what’s worse than a Monday? Coming back from a tropical vacation on a Tuesday. Rough, my friends, would be an understatement.

I wore this little outfit to work a few weeks ago, so let’s be real … I’m probably not looking this put together today. But a striped jacket and a brightly colored dress makes for one of my favorite work ensembles. Paired with my favorite ankle-strap heels, it’s a chic standby for when you’re having a major case of the Mondays … or Tuesdays … or any other weekday for that matter.

Black & White

You know I love my bright colors and bold prints, but I’ve also been gravitating towards a palette of neutrals lately. So when I saw this black and white striped dress on the sale rack at C. Wonder, it was love at first sight. Oh and did I mention it was an additional 50% off? We were destined to be.I love the dress paired with a bevy of black and gold accessories. Strappy heels, geometric bracelets and a simple little clutch — it feels delightfully refreshing from my usual bold and brights.

While we’re on the subject of Derby-inspired style, I can’t help but think that this coral number from eShakti fits the bill perfectly. It embodies all my favorite things about spring style: pretty pastels, flowy fabrics and just an all around flirty feel. Just cue the big floppy hat and call it a day!
