Last week, I paid a visit to the Sequin showroom — a cute space in the Garment District packed full of gorgeous jewelry. From punchy arm candy to insane statement necklaces, I felt like a kid in a candy store while Rose showed me collections from upcoming seasons and from years past. My first pair of shoes are the most adorable patent pumps from Kate Spade! I would’ve never thought to invest in a pair of polka dot heels, but it turns out that they go with everything — including more polka dots!

I’m a pop of color kind of gal, through and through, but every now and then, you’ll see me in a pretty neutral outfit. Look closer, however, and you’ll notice that my definition of neutral is slightly tweaked. Leopard and gold are my go-to neutrals, sprinkled with a dash of interesting details like a pave branched necklace and a lacy shoulder sweater. Neutrals do not have to mean normal!
