Only in Arizona could I be wearing shorts in January and still feel too hot. Don’t get me wrong, I love our winters (if you can call them that), but sometimes I just feel like bundling up in sweaters and layers. That’s definitely not happening this week with highs in the mid-70s, so I might as well embrace the temps with bright colors and big shades.

The holidays may be over, but there’s still plenty of fun to be had. I gave my sequined skirt and bright red pumps some extra mileage by turning it into a playfully casual look with a chambray shirt. It’s a pretty daring for daytime, but loose wavy hair (aka day old curls) and a crossbody bag keep the whole look grounded.

New Years Eve has always been one of my favorite holidays. It’s about looking back on the accomplishments of the past year and looking forward to the adventures to come.
