My blogger style series is back with a new group of gorgeous girls! The last round was so much fun that I reached out to a new batch of talented bloggers to see what creative looks we could come up with. For the next two months, I’ll be working with Kristin of Living in Color Print, Christina of Oh So Glam, and Kacie of Kacie’s Kloset to bring you four different ways to wear various themes and trends.

For our first post, we wanted to get into the Halloween spirit without being so literal. Black and white seemed like the perfect balance between festive and chic, so I threw on a black and white striped sweater with a collar that channels a bit of Wednesday Addams. See how Kristin, Christina, and Kacie wore black and white and let us know what you think of the first round of our series!

Although I didn’t have time to make it out to the pumpkin patch this year, I did find an alternative closer to home. Surprisingly, Trader Joe’s had a decent selection of pumpkins and gourds galore.

The options ranged from miniature to fairytale shaped (think Cinderella’s carriage), to “ugly” (or should I say … unique?).

One of my personal faves were the pumpkin branches. Festive, miniature and adorable. What more could you ask for?

In the end, I scooped up a typical carving pumpkin for only $2.99 and a special treat to boot. I’ll be attempting to carve the little guy tonight so stay tuned for the final result!
