I snagged this orange A-line skirt on sale at H&M recently. I usually wear pencil skirts, but the flare and color on this little guy was too fun to pass up. Topped off with a pair of cat eye sunglasses and I’m feeling all kinds of retro.

I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas weekend! Mine entailed visits to Phoenix, Yuma and San Diego to be with my friends and fam. While I was in Phoenix, I threw together this simple outfit to helped me stay warm during a night out with some great friends. Blazers and boots are definitely my new winter staple.

I can’t seem to pass up a boldly colored blazer if I tried. They’re the perfect way to dress up an otherwise casual outfit. Add hot pink to the mix and you know I’m sold. I think it looks especially sharp against a graphic print, but keep it under control by pairing it with monochromatic pieces.
