A few weeks ago, I took a quick trip back to Tucson to watch the bf graduate from his Master’s program. To celebrate, I donned an outfit that was inspired by a little bit of Kate Middleton and a whole lot of school spirit. I’m so proud of my guy and excited that only a few weeks stand in between us and our new adventures together in NYC!

Every year, I usually get so caught up on the daily grind that I don’t even realize that the holidays are here. In fact, it wasn’t until this weekend, when I was out running errands, that I looked up and saw the Empire State Building was all decked out in red and green. With that one glance, it started to feel like Christmas. To celebrate this revelation and the holiday season, I threw on my prettiest winter whites (with a dash of red and leopard of course). After an adventure-filled weekend with one of my best friends from Arizona, I’m back on the grind for another Monday. And while it’s always extra difficult for me to get out of bed at the start of the week, throwing on a fierce outfit is a great way to cure the case of the Mondays. Printed pants and a crew-neck sweater are perfect for work, but a tiger-print clutch and talon necklace (borrowed from my blogger besties) give the look an unexpected edge.
