Every year, I usually get so caught up on the daily grind that I don’t even realize that the holidays are here.  In fact, it wasn’t until this weekend, when I was out running errands, that I looked up and saw the Empire State Building was all decked out in red and green.  With that one glance, it started to feel like Christmas.  To celebrate this revelation and the holiday season, I threw on my prettiest winter whites (with a dash of red and leopard of course).  Happy holidays to you and yours!

I didn’t own any graphic shirts or sweaters to begin with, but when we picked this theme, I started noticing all of the whimsical prints in stores.  Racoons, owls — you name it.  So when I stumbled upon this adorable little pear, I had to give a whirl while some fully on preppy accessorizing and an unexpected splash of leopard.

feelin' fierce.

After an adventure-filled weekend with one of my best friends from Arizona, I’m back on the grind for another Monday.  And while it’s always extra difficult for me to get out of bed at the start of the week, throwing on a fierce outfit is a great way to cure the case of the Mondays.  Printed pants and a crew-neck sweater are perfect for work, but a tiger-print clutch and talon necklace (borrowed from my blogger besties) give the look an unexpected edge.
