gray + gold.

Three day weekends are the best … until they’re over. The downside: Major case of the Mondays. The upside: It’s actually Tuesday! And as always, I try and start the week off with a chic little number that works at the office or at a much needed happy hour.

Gray and gold is the color combo du jour, punctuated with my new favorite sequin clutch and a touch of neon. How are you surviving the post-holiday blues?

feels like home.

I’ve never invested much in home decor — I have tons of Pinterest boards dedicated to the subject, but have never committed to a certain look or direction. I have a few objects that I keep gravitating to (like this guy!), but the decor is far from complete. So after living in my NYC apartment for over seven months now, the pad is still pretty barebones. My new goal for the next few months: focus on collecting pieces that make my home feel more like home. Inspiration/suggestions are always welcomed!

an (almost) ode to black.

After overdosing on color from yesterday’s outfit, my best friend asked me to give an ode to black. I just about died laughing at the request. She lives in LA and wears mostly dark shades while I live in NYC and wear mostly colorful brights — it’s quite a comical contrast. Well boo, this is as good as it’s gonna get: my (almost) ode to black, because it wouldn’t be me without a few pops of neon.
