Last weekend, my friends and I went to Spring Fling, the nation’s largest student-run carnival and a huge University of Arizona tradition. The fact that it was Friday the 13th made me slightly more paranoid about being spun around and flipped upside down on rides, but luckily we all survived. When Wednesdays come around, I try extra hard to stay optimistic. Between classes and work, it might be my longest day of the week, but at least it’s all downhill after that. To keep things cheery, I add a splash of pattern and a statement necklace and keep reminding myself that the weekend is almost here!

Sometimes it’s the little things in life that bring the most joy and for this outfit, the little details went a long way. I was so enamored when I first laid eyes on this dress a few months ago and equally as excited to wear it to our dear friends’ wedding over the weekend (more on that tomorrow!). Who knew that some cutout petals could make a dress feel so unique?
