happy new year!

New Years Eve has always been one of my favorite holidays.  It’s about looking back on the accomplishments of the past year and looking forward to the adventures to come.  Of course, it’s also about looking fab while ringing in the new year, which means throwing on a black velvet dress, big chunky jewelry, and a classic shaped clutch.  Cheers and happy new year everyone!

happy holidays!

It’s hard to believe that Christmas is only two days away.  So to get in the festive spirit, I threw on a bright red frock and a few gold accoutrements.   I’m off to spend some time with friends and family and I hope you have a wonderful and joy-filled Christmas weekend!

Outside of monsoon season, it doesn’t rain much here.  So when a little drizzle rolls through, everyone suddenly starts driving 15 miles below the speed limit.  I, on the other hand, take the opportunity to bust out the rain boots and splash around.  After all, you’re never too old to layer up, boot up, and jump in rain puddles!
