When I told you it was easy, flowy dresses from here on out, I wasn’t joking. Even though it’s been a little chilly in NYC over the past couple of days, I can’t help but embrace the summer spirit. The wedding festivities are over, but I’m not mad about it. It feels like the adventures are just about to begin and I have a whole list of things I want to try, experience and conquer this season. I got this high-low dress a few months ago when it was way too cold to even been thinking about asymmetrical hemlines. It’s been collecting dust in my closet ever since, until I finally remembered to take it out for a spin. I’m so glad I did, because it turns out, it’s the perfect spring/summer dress and I received COMPLIMENTS GALORE on the wave it moves. These picture don’t do it justice. One guy called me the “Cape Crusader” as I biked to work and my co-workers put in a bulk order so they could each have one. If you want to be #twinning too, I won’t mind. It’s on sale, so get yourself one ASAP and I promise you won’t regret it!

It’s one of my favorite times of the year: florals are in full bloom in the city. There really is nothing else quite like it … bustling streets are lined with beautiful tulips and gorgeous blossoms hang overhead in every park. Everything’s a bit brighter and everyone’s a little happier. It’s no wonder that my style tends to follow suit. This blue floral skirt is the latest addition to the arsenal and I have no doubt it’ll give the sidewalk planters a run for their money!
