The post-wedding high is slowly winding down, but I ain’t mad. We still have our honeymoon to look forward to at the end of August. It feels like a long way’s away, but the planning is just about to get started… Give me all your must sees and eats in Italy and Greece!

I’m also daydreaming about what I’ll be wearing while on vacay. This pleated maxi dress is definitely on the packing list. It also comes in black and white and at less than $50, it’s much more affordable than this similar designer piece. For now, I’m rocking it on Summer Fridays in the office, but I can’t wait to be wearing this on the streets of Venice!

Happy Monday my friends! I can’t believe it’s been a little over a week since our wedding. The upside: I finally feel semi-caught up on life and sleep. The downside: I probably can’t play the, “I just got back from my wedding, can you cut me some slack?” card at work anymore.

We decided to save our honeymoon until September so we could take some time to decompress, enjoy summer and still have something to look forward before fall hits. Until then, it’s little adventures around NYC and hopefully up and down the East Coast.

I’m also taking some time to clean out the closet and refresh the wardrobe for summer. I recently scored this blue floral print midi skirt from one of my favorite online boutiques. If you love a good midi skirt, this is the site for you. My closet is filled with fuschia, neon green and floral pieces from them (to name a few), and I have my eyes on this flamingo print next. I’m such a sucker for a cute skirt … but hey, it comes with the blog name.

When I told you it was easy, flowy dresses from here on out, I wasn’t joking. Even though it’s been a little chilly in NYC over the past couple of days, I can’t help but embrace the summer spirit. The wedding festivities are over, but I’m not mad about it. It feels like the adventures are just about to begin and I have a whole list of things I want to try, experience and conquer this season.
