My first day living in NYC was a success! I’m still in the midst of unpacking, settling in, and getting a feel for the neighborhoods, but there’s one thing I am familiar with: NYC style. It’s the perfect balance between classy, edgy, and forward thinking. It’ll be interesting to see if my style will change as I adapt to the city life, but I will definitely be pulling inspiration from my favorite NYC style icons: blogger Kelly Framel of The Glamourai, Poppy Delevigne, Lindsey Calla of Saucy Glossie, Blake Lively, and Olivia Palermo. Any other stylish New Yorkers that I should add to the list?

I love monsoon season like any good Arizonan … except when it stops me from taking outfit photos! What started as a Sunday afternoon full of clear skies quickly turned into a certified torrential downpour. I’ll have to take a rain check on Monday’s usual outfit post, but I’ll leave you with a few rainy day looks from my favorite bloggers.

I can’t say it enough: I’m a sucker for vibrant prints and bright colors. Recently, I’ve been inspired by some amazing looks from various Resort ’13 collections that make me wish I was somewhere a little more exotic than the basement floor of the law library. Sigh.
