This week I …

· Didn’t buy anything, but I have a few sale items sitting in my shopping cart from Express since it’s an additional 40% off sale items.  On the top of my list: a crop top and two leopard scarves — one for spring and one for next winter … because I just can’t help myself.

· Want to know your thoughts on bucket bags.  Do we like them?  I usually prefer a structured bag, but love these ikat, striped and straw options as my foray into a new shape.

· Hung up our very first piece of art in our apartment.  Oh you know, it only took a year and a half of living here to finally start decorating.

· Am ready to kick my winter coats to the curb!  Time to invest in a bomber jacket and I’m loving options one, two and three.

· Rounded up my March shopping haul and still stayed under budget!  My favorite pieces from last month include my new black tee dress, snakeskin skimmer flats, and black and gold heels.

· Am heading back to Washington, DC for a little weekend getaway.  Fingers crossed that the cherry blossoms are in bloom!  Any recommendations for our third time around?

· Speaking of travel, we just booked one hell of a vaca in May.  I’m already planning my tropical outfits, which will involve caftans and coverups galore.

· Watched the season finale of HIMYM and I’m not sure how I feel.  Is it possible to be ever happy with a series finale?  Oh wait, yes it is.

· Am loving the BaubleBar x Nordstrom collection!  Can we talk about this tortoise necklace and this bright crystal bracelet?  They even show you how to layer everything — it’s glam on top of glam!

· Had the best apple pancakes ever with Lauren over brunch.  Check out her recently redesigned blog — it looks amazing!

This week, I …

· Am guilty of a few more LOFT purchases: a black dress, a star print sweater, a dusty pink cardigan and new bracelets.  Did I mention it’s Friends & Family Weekend and you get to take 40% off your entire purchase?  Lawd, help me.

· Made my on air debut in partnership with Cosmo Magazine and XOXO.  Check out the video, scoop up the dress and please don’t mind my mild awkwardness.

· Am trying to break in the cutest pair of ankle strap flats.  Please please please work out, because I have my eye on these little cuties next!

· Realized that even though I hate Times Square, there’s just nothing else quite like it.

· Am squealing because A) the Wildcats are in the Elite 8 and B) my love for my alma mater was featured in Glitter Guide’s 5 Things  To Try This Weekend.  BTFD!

· Plan to step up my shoe game this spring.  Just bought these gold heeled beauties from Ann Taylor.  Also have my eye on these leopard wedges by Sam Edelman, these two toned heels from Pour La Victoire and these red stunners from Zara.  I’m gonna need more space in my closet …

· Am so thankful that this saying applies to me.

· Booked a trip with the boyfriend to back to Washington, DC next weekend and I think a new sparkly weekender bag is in order.

· Can’t believe I won the final round of Banana Republic’s #TRUESTYLE Instagram contest with this outfit.  Hellooo shopping spree.

· Need you to hide my wallet.  I’ve almost reached my monthly shopping budget, but there are SO many good sales going on at my favorite stores:

This week I …

• Am realizing the dangers of working for an amazing brand.  I want everything, including: these camo pants, this bright turquoise blazer and this darling little white dress.

• Bought this gold gum ball lamp from Urban Outfitters.  Now do I place it on my nightstand or on my desk?

• Celebrated the boyfriend’s birthday with ramen, sushi, sake and a donut ice cream sandwich.  Needless to say, my body hates me today.

• Watched my first Broadway show in over a year.  Only two more to go until I can check off my goal of seeing three shows before I turn 28.

• Can’t decide between striped loafers number one or striped loafers number two.  Help me decide!

• Loved getting to know the jewelry designers behind Emily and Ashley at a blogger brunch last week.  !t was amazing to hear about their journey and the inspiration behind their QVC Line.

• Swooning over J.Crew Factory’s darling floral and stripes printed pieces, which comes in a camisole, tank, shorts and skirt form.  You know I love me some mixed prints.  Even better when they’re already mixed for you!

• Plan on hopping over to Ann Taylor to pick up these ankle strap heels in black, nude, snake or all the above … and these strappy wedges in beige.  Take 40% off your entire purchase for their friends and family sale!
