Another day, another Brooklyn adventure and this time I’m feeling all kinds of boho in this crochet dress.

Skirt The Rules / Teal Crochet Dress

I wore this gorgeous teal dress to a friend’s birthday a few weekends ago and loved it so much I had it on repeat the very next week when James and I hung out in DUMBO (it a neighborhood in Brooklyn that’s short for “Down Under the Manhattan Bridge Overpass). It’s probably the second most frequented neighborhood we visit in BK – Williamsburg being the first. I love it for 1) the killer views of the city, 2) my favorite mural: the Rainbow Wall and 3) how it can be both relaxing along the park, but lively with all the shops and restaurants nearby. Definitely plan on exploring it more this summer and who knows … maybe I’ll come out with a little neighborhood guide in the near future!

P.S. My dress is by Free People, which means it’s a little pricier than most summer dresses, but if I had a dollar for every time I received a compliment in this dress, I’m pretty sure I’d break even.
