You know those times when you look better in the photos than you do in real life? This is one of those moments.

Real talk. I’m back in New York after spending the past week in Arizona, but I’ve had a hard time getting back into the groove of things. I slept through all three of my alarms two days in a row … averaging about 1.5 hours late to work both days and looking disheveled as hell by the time I get to my desk (sorry team!). I’m not sure why it’s so difficult for me to adjust, but I think it it has something to do with this dress and wishing I could live last weekend over and over again.

In case you didn’t see on my Instagram or on Snapchat (username: SkirtTheRules), James and I celebrated the marriage of one of our favorite Arizonans-turned-New Yorkers couples. It was an unforgettable night that called for an equally show-stopping dress. After seeing it on Krista a few months ago, I knew I needed to get my hands on it for this occasion.
