These days, my date nights with James tend to involve a night in with Thai food and a Netflix binge.

But recently, we made it out to a modern Vietnamese restaurant in Astoria named District Saigon. I had the sirloin friend rice (phenomenal!) and a smoky tiki cocktail and just talking about it makes me want to go back!

Anyways, since we were making the “effort” of leaving our apartment, I decided to put on this super fun peplum top that I recently purchased off Amazon. It’s only $19, but the quality feels much more substantial than expected! The ruffles are made of a neoprene material (which gives the peplum lots of structure), while the rest of the shirt is a stretchy fabric. I love this color, but might have to get it in black too!

Also, side note: can we talk about this bag? I was searching for a white purse for spring when this one caught my eye because of the ribbon and chain detail. At $26, it was too got too pass up! Turns out, it’s actually a dupe of this Gucci bag but at 1/100th of the cost! Definitely a nice surprise!
