It’s hard to believe that I moved to New York four years ago. I remember in the first few weeks of moving here, every single subway ride would give me those “I can’t believe I live here” feelings. It took one year to finally feel at home, two years to feel like I knew what I was doing and three years to start feeling like a local. These days, the pinch me moments of living here are few and far between, but they surprise me every now and then – especially on days like yesterday, when I actually forgot that it was my anniversary! Another year in the books and I can’t wait to see what kind of adventures await next.
