Before start island hopping through the Aegean Sea, I wanted to share another beach worth visiting on Mykonos.

As I mentioned in my first post from Mykonos, we stayed at Hotel Palladium, which was a five-minute walk from Platis Gialos. It happened to be a quick jaunt from some of the top ranked restaurants on the island (more on that tomorrow!) and a super laid back beach. Think the complete opposite of Super Paradise Beach – family friendly and way less of a party scene. Some of the restaurants along the water also offer free beds to their customers (as opposed to 25€ we paid at Super Paradise). James and I snapped this photo on our one year wedding anniversary and then we came back early in the morning when there wasn’t a soul on the beach. It was a sight to be seen. I threw off my braided sandals and lounged around in this cozy caftan for a little R&R. Stay tuned tomorrow for a complete video travel guide to the island of Mykonos – I can’t wait to share! If you have any questions about Mykonos, Santorini or Athens, leave a comment and I’ll be sure to answer in a future post!
