There are a few things in life that will always get me excited for summer: Memorial Day Weekend plans, neon-colored nail polish and a brand new Lilly Pulitzer dress.
I added this swing dress to my wardrobe, with every intention of wearing it while I was in Cape Cod a few weeks ago. Well, I actually did end up wearing it, even though it was way to cold and dreary that weekend – a vibrant, summery dress like this should not be wasted on a rainy day! It definitely deserved a do-over! Over the weekend, I brought the dress back out for an afternoon in Bryant Park and all felt right with the world.
I don’t typically wear that much Lilly, but I have to admit, they’ve just been killing it with their new arrivals. Also, I’m a sucker for all of the catchy names of their super punchy prints (the print I’m wearing is called Pink Lemonade). You’ll be seeing this trapeze dress on the blog in the near future, but can we also talk about this matching set and this hot pink number? Swoon. I’m seriously considering buying this dress. Do you find it to be true to size, or do you recommend sizing down? I still want the shape, but I don’t want it to look like a tent!

I usually wear an XS, but honestly think I could’ve gone with an XXS. The straps felt a little long for my body. Otherwise, I don’t think you’ll look like a tent at all! Hope this helps!
