Who’s the crazy girl walking down the street in a hot pink dress in September?
That would be me.
I know, I know – I promised that my days of summer dressing were numbered, but then this pretty off-the-shoulder dress landed at my doorstep and I had to take it out for a spin. It would’ve been perfect for our trip to the colorful island of Burano or to the stunning isle of Capri, but alas I’m the weirdo wandering down the streets of NYC as bright as a highlighter while everyone else is starting to layer up and sip on their PSLs. No joke, I saw someone already in a puffer coat the other day, but that’s a whole ‘nother kind of strange.
Just let me have this moment, because this was way to good to tuck away for another six months. And hey, if you’re lucky to live somewhere that still feels like summer (I’m looking at you ‘Zona), you need this dress in your life ASAP.

You look so gorgeous. I think if the weather is kind enough to let you play dress up with lovely summer closes, then do it. Because there will be plenty cold days ahead of us when wrapping up and layering will be must. I know I have seen here some people wearing winter close. It makes me wander, how cold was day/morning when they left home. I try to enjoy every bit of this warm weather. No boots yet and very light layers.
