The Long & The Short of It

It’s Thursday, which means we’re one step closer to the weekend team. Tomorrow, I’m heading back to Arizona for a week and I can’t wait to bask in the 80°F weather. Poolside in November? I think yes.
I’m not gonna lie though, this fall has been too good to be true and New York has actually been giving the West Coast a run for its money. I thought I’d be loading up the layers by this time of the year, but I’ve been skating by on breezy maxi skirts and the occasional crop top. The long and the short of it? We’re on borrowed time and there are a lot of grumblings that this winter is going to be a rough one, but let’s worry about that when we get there. Until then, you can find me dining al fresco and wearing as little layers as possible/socially acceptable.

You. Are. Gorgeous! Seriously, I think this might be my favorite (or close to it…) outfit I’ve seen on this blog yet!
I’m not much of a “summer fashion” person. I looooove layers–to me it’s much easier to look nice with them because you don’t have to put so much thought into other accessories such as summer-weight scarves and statement necklaces; your layers can become your statement. But some people, like you, rock summer fashion 🙂
