Month: September 2012

This week, I attended the Independent Fashion Bloggers Conference (#IFBCON) in Soho.  It was a two-day conference full of informative panels, distinguished speakers, and hundreds of stylish bloggers.  I met some amazingly talented girls and gained tons of inspiration for growing my blog (more on that later!).  I’m proud to be part of such a creative community and even more excited to find out there are quite a few other lawyer-blogger hybrids out there.  I’m already looking forward to next season’s conference, but until then, I’ll have to settle with photos of what I wore to the first day of this year’s conference.

As an Arizona girl born and raised, I’m amazed that it already feels like fall in September.  I’m so excited for thicker layers and darker hues, but it’s probably a little early to completely switch out my wardrobe.  So while the seasons transition, I’ll be mixing both summer and fall elements into my outfits.

It’s nearly been a week since I’ve been in NYC and today it finally hit me (during the most mundane activity) that I live here.  I’ve been patiently waiting for that moment to hit and when it did, I could not stop smiling.  For the past few months, I’ve been anxiously anticipating the big move, but for that one moment today, I felt overwhelmed with elation.  I’m so happy to be here and so lucky to have a few amazing friends that have taken me in during my first week.  I can’t wait to share all of my adventures with you, but for now, check out a few stunning views of NYC from my Instagram account.
