My boyfriend once tried to teach me how to drive stick.  I quickly realized that the only clutch I enjoy using is the kind that holds my cell phone and camera.  When it comes to being out on the town, I rely on these versatile bags to carry all my necessities and pack a punch of color.  Here are a few of my favorite colorful clutches of the moment:

1. ASOS Envelope Case in Faux Croc — $34.48 (technically a laptop case!)
2. Melie Bianco Leslie Convertible Clutch — $68
3. ASOS Leather Portfolio Clutch — $94.81
4.  Kitson Pink Wave Envelope Clutch — $68
5.  Urban Outfitters Cooperative Lizard Envelope Clutch — $39
6. J. Crew Satin Invitation Clutch — $49
7. Hobo International Effe Clutch — $89.99

During the last week of June, I went on a wonderful, week-long journey to Tokyo and Seoul.  Fast forward a few weeks and I finally recovered from jet lag, caught up with work, and uploaded all my favorite photos (you try sifting through 2,000 of them!).  It was an incredible adventure experiencing new cultures, exploring different districts, and “mastering” the transit systems.

Although we arrived in the heart of monsoon season, we were lucky to have a few days of sunny weather (read: hot, sticky, and humid!).  Thankfully, my lightweight tank and skirt helped battle the humidity while my new crossbody bag (best accessory ever) helped me navigate through the thick Tokyo crowds.

It’s pretty uncommon to find me a completely neutral outfit like this, but with the insane scenery of Tokyo in the backdrop, I’m not complaining.

I know I’ve been a neglectful blogger as of late, but a couple of weeks ago, I was lucky enough to do some traveling abroad (more on that later!). Ever since then, I’ve been catching up on work and jet lag.

In the mean time, I’m definitely enjoying the whirlwind adventures of my last summer break ever. The fusion of colors in this tie-dye dress makes it easy to forget that school starts back up in a little over a month (your welcome for the reminder). Still, there’s plenty of good times to be had and I’m looking forward to sharing them with you all!
