Do you think a cruise ship has ever run out of alcohol in the middle of its voyage? Let’s hope not, because I think I might jump over board.

Just kidding! (But seriously). Thankfully, Royal Caribbean’s Anthem of the Seas was stocked for the weekend. After we set sail on Friday night, I changed into this floral fit and flare skirt for a celebratory cocktail party in the solarium, followed by drinks at the Bionic Bar.

Bionic bar … as in – I kid you not – a bar “manned” completely by robots. Did I not tell you that this was the most tricked out cruise ship ever?

Since I’ve never been on a cruise during the fall, I wasn’t sure how cold or windy it would be. I think we lucked out in part to the heat wave that rolled through New York last week, but even during breezier times, it wasn’t so bad. Aside from hanging out on our state room balcony in the morning and on the pool deck during the day, we were pretty much stayed inside (hello indoor pool!). Light layers like a striped long sleeve and a faux leather moto jacket were all I needed to keep warm during our first night at sea.
