Leopard short sleeve top, khaki pants (4P), brown tote bag with zipper

I didn’t expect to be as obsessed with these Pixie Pants from Old Navy, but they’re petite friendly and flattering in all the right places. Paired with this black leopard top for a pop of print to kick off the work week.

White bodysuit (S), similar camel midi skirt, brown tote bag with zipper, similar leopard flats

This camel skirt is from Express a few years ago, but I linked a similar option here. I recently got this white bodysuit from Amazon last mont and loved it so much that I got it in black too (see below). It has shoulder pads for a little more structure, but without being too bulky.

I present to you: the muscle cut bodysuit in black. Like I said, it’s subtle, but it feels like a modern take on a neutral staple. I love how it looks with these brown pants from Target – this rich, warm shade of a caramel brown is giving me fall vibes!

I’ve had these white wide leg pants for years now and they’ve surprisingly kept nice and crisp – even with all the wear they get during the summer. I recently got this black wrap top during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale – the draping is a little loose, but any extra fabric can easily be tucked in for a more snug fit..

Rounding out the week with a more casual look. If you love t-shirts, but want them to be more form-fitting, I would go with this bodysuit. It’s great for layering under bottoms like this this satin cheetah print skirt.

Summer Style Inspiration // Floral White Shirtdress

If you couldn’t tell, I’ve been on a bit of a white dress kick lately. So it didn’t really help when Ann Taylor reached out and ~~enabled~~ asked me to style some of their newest summer dresses.

Their latest summer collection just came out last Thursday, and it was love at first sight with this insanely gorgeous floral and lace shirtdress (wearing a size 0 here). You know how I feel about lace – when it’s done right, the detail can look so stunning (case in point: these photos)! I especially love this dress because the short sleeves and midi hemline make it perfect for the office, but more importantly – this dress has pockets! Does anyone else feel like shout it from the rooftops whenever they find a dress with pockets? No? Just me?

As we head into the holiday weekend, I recommend you keep checking back on their site to see the latest sales. There are so many perfect summer dresses online right now (I also recently this pineapple print dress, this pink ruffle dress and this flowy dream of a dress) – it’ll be hard to walk away empty handed!

Mondays – woof. It’s my least favorite day of the week and yet it’s the day that I put the most thought into getting dressed. What can I say? It’s a love-hate relationship.

Two things will get me in the zone on a Monday morning: a double shot of espresso and a killer outfit. But don’t think that looking putting together requires a lot of effort – I get it, the struggle is real. At the top of the week, I gravitate towards easy, but refined dresses, like this black and white striped flared number (it’s almost sold out!), a structured tote and a pair of lace up pumps. It’s an outfit that you could probably put together while half-awake and scrambling to get out the door in the morning. Or is that just how Monday mornings look like for me?
