Remember when I said there’s only one lace dress you need this season? I lied.

Skirt The Rules / Light Blue Lace Dress

There’s just way too many lace dresses out there to pick just one as my favorite. Case in point: this light blue cami dress, this white tea-length stunner, or this turquoise sheath – all worn while in Washington, D.C. a few weekends ago. I love how elevated a lace dress can be for special occasions, like bridal showers, Easter or Mother’s Day, but could also be worn for brunch or just because! You can expect a whole lot of lace around these parts for spring. Here are a few feminine frocks that I wouldn’t mind adding to my growing collection ASAP:

If you thought the pom poms trend was only meant for the summer, you thought wrong. I recently picked up this blush pink pom pom sweater, because why not? I’ll probably be sick of sweaters once we really get into the throes of winter, so might as well make it fun while I’ll can. And I have to admit, for the entire day that I was wearing this, I found a little extra pep in my step (and also received way more compliments than I ever expected!). The sweater also comes in yellow, so don’t be surprised if you see me rockin’ that one next!

At any given point in the year, you can find bright colors and bold prints in my wardrobe, but now we’re in peak season and I’m determined to give Mother Nature a run for her money.

I wore this floral print midi skirt last month in a blue on blue outfit (seen here), but this time around, I wanted to add a major pop of color. Cue this fluid tank top – it’s only $34 and comes in a bunch of different colors, but the bright tomato red is a standout.

This colorful little nook of Central Park is part of the Conservatory Garden (see the other looks that we shot here and here) and was lined with vivaciously colored tulips. If you’re in the NYC area, I definitely recommend you get yourself up to 105th St. and 5th Ave. to check this slice of heaven out!
