Sharing my recent loungewear haul from Abercrombie and it’s all so cozy!

We all know how much of a lifeline loungewear has been during the pandemic, but it’s an even more important wardrobe staple throughout pregnancy. Ever since I had to say goodbye to any pants that require being zippered or buttoned, I’ve pretty much been living in stylish loungewear while working from home. It’s comfy, but still can look put together with a denim jacket, a long cardigan or my favorite layering piece – this sweater blazer.

I’m pretty excited for this Abercrombie & Fitch haul because there are so many cute, cozy neutrals for spring. For reference, I was 29 weeks in these photos – normally an XS but sized up to a S to accommodate the bump.

First up: this leopard bralette paired with these creamy wide legged sweater pants. I don’t think the sports bra is meant for actual athletic activity, but I love the pop of print it gives off. The sweater pants are a bit long (I’m 5’2″ and it’s hiked all the way up), but I will say it’s a nice, thick material.

These matching set is more my speed. Unlike the pair of lounge pants, the fabric of these beige wide legged pants is way softer and more fluid. I also like that this bralette is lined for a little extra support and coverage. I’m actually wearing this outfit right now as I write this post, and I’m thinking I need to get this set more colors for maximum postpartum comfort.

The added bonus of elevated loungewear is that you could dress it up for the outside world if you wanted (anything goes in the pandemic really). I added this pink graphic t-shirt, a denim jacket and crisp white sneakers, which would make for a great travel outfit, or something to wear while you run errands!

As the weather starts to warm up, I’ll probably be switching to shorts at some point! These cream lounge shorts are the same material as the first pair of sweater pants – a little thicker and thankfully not see through. I paired it with a pink v-neck bralette – I sized up from my pre-pregnancy size, but think it runs a bit large (the straps are a little long), so I should’ve stayed an XS (and you should probably size down if you’re not pregnant!).

The best kind of Valentine’s Day outfit is a cozy one.

If we’re being honest here, I never enjoyed going out for Valentine’s Day anyway. Years ago, James and I stopped wasting our time and money on overpriced, pre-fixe restaurant dinners on V-Day. Instead, we would go out to eat a few nights before or after February 14, and then cook a nice meal at home on the day of (think steak and mussels, yum!). We’ll probably doing something along the lines of the latter and watch a movie from the comfort of our couch this year.

That’s when this Valentine’s Day themed lounge set will come in clutch. I’m planning on keeping things very cozy for V-Day and I love how adorable this heart print sweatshirt and matching jogger pants are! And of course, I’m excited to spend the day with two special Valentines this year!
