Flowy, floral dress season is here! Well at least while we were on the west coast last week! I really do feel my best in a full-length, feminine frock and I’m excited to pull out all of the floral prints and flowy fabrics for the sunny days to come. I love the punchy color combo on this dress, and even though it’s non-maternity, it’s very bump friendly! One note of caution to my small chested friends (I’m a 32A), the wrap top runs a little big so you may want to have a safety pin or fabric tape handy!

Say hello to my first outfit from the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. I’m the lowest level of cardholder and was able to start shopping last Monday. But since I ordered online, I didn’t get my shipment in until the weekend. From a blogger perspective – I’m a little late to the game, but I’m excited to share a few things that didn’t get a lot of coverage from the bigger bloggers. So good news: this floral midi dress is still fully in stock! And it’s gorgeous!

For reference, I’m 5’2″, so this midi dress fits more like a maxi on me and I’m totally okay with that. It flows beautifully, has a modest leg slit, sleeve slits and a slit in the back (I’m guessing the designer was a bit slit happy). I love it paired with these cheetah print flats (you know I love me some mixed prints!) and have a feeling this is going to be a go-to summer-to-fall outfit.

I wore this dress to a friend’s wedding recently and I just can’t get over how good it is. The embroidery detail is stunning and the colors are so perfect for a fall or winter wedding – or any special occasion really. Just throw a moto jacket or faux fur shawl over it and you’ll be collecting compliments all freaking night!
