They say flaunt it if you got it!

Light wash denim jacket (XS) / Mint tank dress with leg slit (normally an XS, sized up to a S for the bump) / Rattan headband / White straw circle bag / White leather sneakers (6.5 TTS) / Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’

Pre-pregnancy, I wasn’t really big on tight-fitting, bodycon clothes. Even a casual tank dress like this would make me feel little self-conscious about my body. Can you see my less-than-flat abs? Am I showing too much booty?

But there’s something about being pregnant that enabled me to let go of those reservations and embrace every curve. I love my bump because it’s a reminder that I’m in the process of creating something incredible, and I want to show it to the world! I felt the same way when wearing swimsuits during my babymoon earlier this spring.

I sized up from my normal XS to S to accommodate the bump, and since it’s non-maternity, I can’t wait to rock this postpartum as well.

On Fridays (plus Saturdays through Thursdays), we wear athleisure.

Dark wash denim jacket (XS) / Beige long sleeve top with thumbholes (S) / Black maternity workout leggings (S – here are my favorite non-maternity leggings) / Brown tote bag with zipper / Veja V-10 sneakers (normally a 6.5, wearing a 36) / Charlotte Tilbury lipstick in ‘Pillow Talk’

I picked up this long sleeve top from Target’s in-house athleisure line earlier this spring – it’s non-maternity, but I sized up from an XS to S to accommodate the bump. I love it because it’s lightweight, super soft and has thumbholes, which for some reason make me feel instantly cool and sporty. It’s great if you’re warming up for a work out, running errands on a breezy spring day, or really just lounging around the house which is what you’ll most likely find me doing these days!

This dress is stretchy and striped, and has me so ready for spring!

I’m really thankful that I’ll be at my “most pregnant” during warmer weather for two reasons. First, my winter coats are starting to get a little tight and I’d prefer not to invest in a larger size! Second – for obvious reasons – dresses are so much easier to wear, whether it’s a maternity or regular fit.

Motherhood Maternity has some great, affordable options including this stretchy t-shirt dress that comes in stripes and solids. I love how flattering it looks with my bump and plan on wearing through the rest of my pregnancy!
